With SPIDER, you can find people who have similar interests in life, business and leisure. Visitors to SPIDER create a DNA profile through answering a series of image-based questions that can be accessed on a website, the answers of which are compiled by the system and built into a profile. With this you can compare your DNA with other SPIDER users.

which sites can spider work with?
The first release of SPIDER includes the first integration with a virtual world platform. Other platforms will be integrated into future releases. SPIDER will be integrated into Second Life. This includes a Second Life Heads-Up Display interface that avatars can wear and see how their DNA profile matches up to other avatars inworld.

who can join spider?
SPIDER will be set up across multiple social networking sites (only currently available in Second Life), making your DNA profile portable and accessible at different sites.

will my answers be kept private?
Your account will store the information securely and will be available for you to edit at any time. Other users will not be able to view your profile or your details. Users of Second Life will only see your avatar name and a comparison score.
